Dance Poster Finish

Here is the final painting for my Idaho International Dance and Music Festival Poster and the final poster design including the digital painting I added on top. I know this has been slow in in the finish but I wasn't able to work on it because of the NY trip and other obligations. But for the sake of those who were interested in the process I first painted the texture with gesso, added the background colors, transferred my drawing on the background which I finished painting in acrylic. Then I scan it into the computer and added the soft edges and type. I am way happy with the outcome and hopefully tomorrow the commitee will enjoy it also enough to pick me for next years poster design.

Well, okay. Maybe it's the swirls of glowey misty stuff the helps your desing. Either way it looks really good.
